Meet Our Management and Associates
W. Ted Floyd - Consultant
Ted began his Firm in 1975 in Griffin, Ga and has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 35 Years. Throughout his career he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for various large companies in Atlanta. Ted attended Georgia Tech and graduated from Georgia State University. He and his wife Marilyn have been married for 50 years and have 7 children, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. In 2008, Ted turned over day to day operations and is enjoying his "semi-retired" life.
David Floyd - President & Business Specialist
David began working with his father doing various tasks at an early age. He will complete his testing to become an E.A. in Fall 2009. David took on day to day operations of the firm in 2008 and will complete the firm's fourth expansion and move in Spring 2009. He oversees the accounting and tax growth and consults with small business owners. David has one "child" - Thomas, his English Bulldog.
Chris Bentley - Accounting Consultant
Chris has been with the firm since Fall 2002 and has been a resident of Newnan for over 4 years. He currently serves as an accounting consultant for small businesses and individuals. Chris' hobbies include golf, softball, and of course taking care of his two German Shepherd puppies, Bailey and Callie.
Lisa Daniel - Staff Accountant
Lisa has lived in the Newnan/Sharpsburg area off and on since 1983. She and her husband, Tim, moved back to Sharpsburg in 2005. She has been in public accounting for over 15 years and has been with Cumberland since March 2009. In her spare time she enjoys deer and turkey hunting as well as fishing. She and Tim have one “child”, a cat named PupPup.

Zack Carnes - Consultant
Zack has been consulting for Cumberland since 2007. Zack is a Certified Public Accountant and provides reviews and audits for our clients. We are grateful for Zack and the great service he always provides for our firm.
